50 Cent new music video “Get Up” 1st single off of Before I Self Destruct album and movie In Stores Dec 9 2008 - This song is off the hook, the Scott Storch Beat is crazy man, so simple yet so unforgettable, period! I hope 50 can get back to the top, there are lotta haters out there diss fif only because he’s smart and making all the bread from every industry. I’ve done said this many times, but this is the sh!t, haha.

Video is kinda cheesy, some Vin Dissel movie style, LOL. To me, it looks kinda like “In the Club” (if you still remember that) somehow. And there’s Em & Dre Cameo at the end. I hope they produced 50’s new album like the first one, since Em and Dre have been under the radar for a long time, general public is hungry for their new materials! Ciara’s video is always cool… It’s all those crazy dance moves that she has would make a boring video cool. And for the new single “Go Girl”, there’s only one scence that Cici and T-Pain were “actually” together, obviously computer effects and stuffs. Now people make songs with seperate digital recording sessions, even video, that’s kinda crazy, Haha. The latest single “Superhuman” from Chris Brown, a collaboration with Keri Hilson who’s like a female version of Lil Wayne, LOL, she’s EVERYWHERE!!! (Did you realize that?) While Beyonce took a long “holiday” and kept quiet, all other RnB singers been pushing it to the limit and get some more bread before the queen B back in the scence. Soulja Boy got his own record label already!!??? That’s great! Now, what Ice-T gon say about the kid? Does Soulja Boy make Hip Hop Look Bad because he is a smart entrepreneur and making a ton of money? Or is Ice-T just sick of being broke and getting laugh at about Coco, LOL.

Soulja Boy’s new label is called “S.O.D. Money Gang”, dude gonna be the new 50 Cent - businessman wise, gotta make them paper when you are hot. Plus he’s making music for teenagers, create some crazy dance moves that you have never seen before and got everybody try to copy it and shit. At least Soulja Boy puts out positive vibes for teens and push record sales for Hip Hop right now though. Lyrically crazy + Simple as beat that doesn’t mean Hip Hop is dead.

Another full on week for me, weekend was crazy, parties were jam packed - $700 for one night’s work is pretty sweet, $1Gs weekend overall was the highest income ever of DJing for me:) God damn, it feels good to be “Ballinnnnn’” !! It’s 4:34 am in the early morning, just got home from DJing, the shitty weather “forced” everybody to stay home because it’s freezing and pouring outside, thus we closed early at 3am!!! Haven’t been closing this early for ageeeess! As I am waiting for Frank Kern’s new MassControl monthly membership released right now I just realized I forgot to share one of the hottest Club Bangers out there right now with you - DJ Laz featuring Flo Rida, Pitbull & Caseley “MOVE SHAKE DROP” Remix - I am sorry yall! This song definitely in the Top 10 of my August Club Hip Hop RnB Playlist.

Video was released in April, and I just heard this track this week, can you believe NZ is this freaking slow!!!?? Matter of fact, this song hasn’t even hit TV or Radio stations here YET! I came across this from one of the DJ mix services. Anyway, (after all the complaining and shit) this video is hot, hey, any video with hot ladies who can Move Shake and Drop is hot, OK? The most important thing about this club banger is DJ Laz sampled one of the classic Techno track, and it’s the Only Few that I like of Techno, dude added some 808 on top of the melody, there you go, one more Hip Hop anthem through Techno/House samples. Ha ha

It’s been a crazy few days started from the weekend. I’ve been extremely busy, phone calls, emails, txt messages to hustle more bread. Brand new Official N.E.R.D “Everyone Nose Remix” Music Video Featuring Kanye West, Lupe Fiasco & Pusha T just released from bbcicecream.com/blog/ today (08/06) in the states!!. I only like N.E.R.D’s earlier years records, these dudes are going downhill man… But I have to say this remix sounds wayyyyyy better than the original punk rock bullshit, not the best hot track that Pharrell and his crew put out but just a comparison! That’s why I wanna share this video with you.

This is the brand new release of David Banner featuring Lil Wayne “Shawty Say” Official Video, i got the Lyrics as well as the song Download link here at DJ Slimchopstick blog:) It hit the internet yesterday, and Universal only released this video few hours ago.

This is the latest single from David Banner’s latest 2008 album “The Greatest Story Ever Told” after the released of “Get Like Me” featuring Chris Brown also there’s remix with Jim Jones (the hook was a sample of Yung Joc’s “Stunnin is a habbit, get like me…” ring a bell?). And this song “Shawty Say” sampled Lil Wayne’s hook “Shawty say a ni**a that she with aint shit…..”(it will stuck in your head soon after the video:)) from 08 global anthem “Lollipop”, but of course Lil Wayne was in the video to show some love to Rapper/Producer David Banner. To me, 1st Verse was kinda weak from David Banner. Overall this song would be a hit for a short period of time in the club because the chorus is so catchy, people gonna love it, and the beat is up-tempo (a David Banner Beat) it’s not one of those typical southside crunk beat hence other people who don’t know who to do crunk or snaps can dance to too, lol.
