Boston Celtics 2008 NBA Champion Tribute Video Highlights!
Yeeeahhhhhhh~~~~!!!! Congratulations to Boston Celtics, the 2008 NBA Champion, added the 17th title to their trophy collection. Last time they won was 20 odd years ago when Larry Bird was balling. Most Importantly, my man Kevin Garnett along side Ray Allen & Paul Pierce, after 10+ long years in waiting, finally crowned NBA World champion for the 1st time, they are 200% deserves it! Of course, the celebration was emotional, it reminds me of Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich which I am currently reading, and I don’t read at all.

The scene of KG was so emotional when he was interviewed post game, he cried (yes, really) and said this is for his mama struck me hard. Suddenly I was having flash back of his NBA career. I started to watch him since he was 21 years old 2nd year in Minnesota Timberwolves, he was the first and only few players (including Kobe Bryant) that didn’t go to college and got picked straight after High School Graduation and turn professional basketball player. For those who doesn’t follow NBA, Timberwovles is a pretty average team, the last time they got the title was…… who know when it was!?? Anyway, they signed the most expensive 6 years contract with Garnett in the NBA history - $121 Million - This shit is crazy, now you know how good he is! Anyway long story short, he played for T-Wovles for 13 seasons, the closest he got to the ultimate prize NBA champion trophy, was only Conference Final.

Then KG got traded to Boston Celtics Last year, meanwhile Ray Allen (No.1 Top Shooter In the League) Joined the Celtics as well! What does it mean? Media was buzzing out, KG + Ray Allen + Paul Pierce = Dream Team (Strongest line up in the league since Jordan’s Bulls era!)
Anyway, going to far off about what that moment reminds me of….. 3 points that Napoleon stated in his book of how to create constructive thoughts to archive wealth. Yes, the book is about true wealth creation if you haven’t read it before)
1. Definiteness of Purpose 2. Persistence 3. Burning Desire
When I had my flashback of KG’s career, 11 times All-Stars, 1 Regular Season MVP, number of times Defensive player of the year, etc. But The Only thing is Missing is The NBA Champion Ring.
KG always carry his Definiteness of Purpose thus he trained harder and motivate team mates player better.
KG keeps trying to become a better player, to reach his ultimate career dream become a NBA Champ for 12 years now - that’s Persistence.
KG has all kinds of trophies already, even the most expensive contract, yet the Champion Ring, he wants this more than anybody and he believes that if he keep trying and working hard, he will reach his dream one day - that’s Burning Desire.
Same story for Ray Allen and Celtics Franchise Player Paul Pierce, they are top players in the league. 10 Years to reach your dream is a long long time, but if you keep all 3 of the fundamental element plus you put them into action, you will archive what you want.
That’s not only theory, but real life example. I had doubt about it too at the beginning, is everybody who reads his book will become wealthy? (of course, you need to take action)
Young point guard Rondo, bench key players like P.J Brown 38, Eddie House, James Posey played a major roll in this Finals. Coach Doc Rivers’ defense comes first strategy works flawlessly in the entire season through game 6!
The celebration inspired me to make this video which contain photos of all players including finals, game 6 and celebration. I am not a big Celtics Fan, if KG wasn’t there, I don’t think I will spend 3 hours to compose this. Ha ha. And the back ground music is latest Busta Rhymes’ We Made It” featuring Linkin Park, this song is raw as hell, when they celebrate this song was floating in my mind. Lyrics are underneath of video. I hope you like it, will be much appreciated for any comments and suggestions, as well as ratings.
[Busta Rhymes:]
See it niggas I survived the worst but my life is glorious
But I know that I live to be hurdled and i’m so victorious
Take a look I’m a symbol of greatness now call it Morpheus
As force accumalted the wind and but a believe I’m so notorious
Didn’t know I’ve been buying my bread even though we rapping now (yes)
And now when you look on my trip and you a nigga higher level tramping now
And you see that everyone on my middle struggers and
For your ass is never been an option
A nigga paper long like we was on the trap and the hood choppin
Get it!
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes) *Mike Shinoda*
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c’mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
But we took it on the road (through the riches)
On the road (through the ghetto)
On the roooooad (and the projects to this bangin instrumental)
On the road (ride with me) *yeah, yeah*
On the road (you come and get it) *yeah, yeah*
On the roooooooad *yeah, yeah, yeah, yo!*
[Mike Shinoda:]
When it all got started we was steadily just getting rejected
And it seemed like nothing we could do would ever get us respected
And thus we was stressed and the worst they probably said was we’re pathetic
Had all the pieces to that puzzle just a way to get connected
And I was fighting through every ryhme tighting up every line
Never resting the question and I was out of my mind
And it finally came time to do it or let it die

So put the chips on the table and told me to let it ride
Sing it!
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes)
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c’mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
But we took it on the road (through the riches)
On the road (through the ghetto)
On the roooooad (and the projects to this bangin instrumental)
On the road (ride with me)
On the road (you come and get it)
On the roooooooad
[Busta Rhymes:]
Look in case you misunderstanded exactly what I’m building
Shit that I could live for my children (children) children (children)
Now I only wake up I smile to see how far I’ve come
Fighting for sales on a strip to get hustle from
From nights in jail on a bench using my muscles son
To count money like Dre, Jimmy and Russell Ones
But now I live when I dream you see me finally getting it
Let’s make a toast to the hustle regardless how we get it
Singing
[Chorus: Chester Bennington] (Busta Rhymes)
Together we made it (you see we did it niggas)
We made it even though we had our backs up against the wall (c’mon)
Forever we waited (haha!)
And they told us we were never going to get it
But we took it on the road (through the riches)
On the road (through the ghetto)
On the roooooad (and the projects to this bangin instrumental)
On the road (ride with me)
On the road (you come and get it)
On the roooooooad
It’s an exciting day man…… I solute the 3 Kings to show people what Determination, Dedication and Persistence is all about. We all have dreams, to make it become reality or not, You have to Belief & Take Action…
“Anything Is Possible!!!!!” (quote Kevin Garnett post game interview)
